Trex Deck Lighting For Safety & Ambience
Decks are often used at night so adding deck lighting to your new Trex deck is something to consider. It is not easy to install the lighting after the deck is already finished because wires need to be run. Despite the added cost, almost everyone that includes deck lighting is glad they did.
Safety: If your deck will have stairs leading to a lower level or your backyard, lighting can be installed on the handrails and on the stairs themselves for safety reasons.
Ambience: Even if you have no stairs, you can add lighting on the post caps for a soft and relaxing ambient light that is not harsh like the floodlights that many people have
