Question: How do you know prices with installation without looking at my home?
Answer: 90% of the time, the installation process for "replacement windows" is standard. Any "new construction windows" may require more information. An estimator must always confirm all installation factors for your particular home.
Question: Who installs the windows and doors?
Answer: The windows are sold through Bay State Window Experts and installed by a local Harvey contractor that services your town. We will obtain all required permits for the job from the local building department in the town where you live.
Question: Where is Harvey Windows located?
Answer: Harvey Windows corporate headquarters is in Waltham MA. A manufacturing facility is in North Dartmouth MA. There is a network of hundreds of Harvey dealers located across 12 states. The contractors in our network are in Massachusetts only.
Question: What is the warranty on the windows?
Answer: The windows warranty is a minimum of twenty years depending on the window series you choose. Some series have a Lifetime Warranty. The contractors in our network offer a Lifetime Warranty on the original workmanship.
Question: How long does it take to get the windows from the factory after ordering.
Answer: This will vary depending on the time of year and the product options. Generally it is about 4-6 weeks.
Question: How long does the installation process take.
Answer: On a "standard" install, usually 10 windows can be installed in one day and 20 windows installed in two days. Replacing a door can be done in a single day. If any trim is needed, this will add to the time.
Question: Does Harvey offer financing for payment?
Answer: It is licensed banking institutions we work with that will provide any available financing.
