Mass Save Windows Program Has Changed
We have worked with the Mass Save program for 25 years. But they have new guidelines in 2026. In order to qualify for a $75 per window rebate, you must meet the following guidelines.
* The old windows you have now MUST be single pane.
* The new windows you install MUST be triple pane.
* You MUST have service with National Grid or Eversource Energy.
Only about 10% of homes in Massachusetts still have old single pane windows so most homes don't even meet the 2026 guidelines.
Are Triple Pane Windows Worth It? - NO
The level of energy efficiency for double pane windows is now so high because of 2026 Massachusetts building codes that there is not much additional energy efficiency when you go from double pane windows to triple pane windows. And triple pane windows cost $200 more per window than double pane windows.
